History of special assets

Here time stops for a moment

Poledno - a small village located near the cities of Swiecie, Chelmno and Bydgoszcz. The history of the place dates back to 1415 - the first recorded mention of the village. In the second half of the sixteenth century the village Poledno belonged to the royal estates, and the tenant was Castellan of Elblag - Rafal Konopacki. Subsequent owners of Poledno who are mentioned in the records are Czapski family from Bukowiec (1850) and Hilmar von Wuthenau (1869). Around 1890 a brick building of the Palace was created  In the twentieth century, after the outbreak of World War II, the palace and park passes into the possession of Ż. von Falleis (1941) and since 1948 goods become the property of the State Treasury. Since the early 90's mansion is privately owned and returns to the previous splendor thanks to the new owners.

The property is now a complex, which consists of the main hotel building, restaurant, conference rooms and a beautiful, unique exhibition of nature and education. In the spring of 2017 the facility will be enriched by a welness area and spa.
